I gave you the air to breathe.
I gave you water to drink.
I gave you the land to walk on.
I gave you the sun, the moon, the trees, the birds.

Yet you forgot me.
You remembered the temples, the books, the gods made by men…
But not me — your only real mother.

I do not ask for prayer.
I ask for care.
I do not need worship.
I need protection.

My child, return to me.
Live simply, kindly, freely.
